About the Journal
Focus and Scope
This journal focuses on Philosophy, publishing accessible, popular articles by a variety of authors (ranging from teachers and intellectuals to university students and high school students). It includes diverse sections:
(a) the announced monographic theme,
(b) articles on general topics,
(c) documentation and translations,
(d) pedagogical resources or teaching experiences,
(e) the “Student Balcony” (for younger readers),
(f) book reviews (covering both recent publications and major classic works in the history of philosophy),
(g) a Current Affairs Back Cover, etc.
It is a registered, certifiable publication aimed at students, teachers, and anyone interested in Philosophy.
Peer Review Process
All submitted articles undergo a review process by at least two experts in the relevant field. Authors are informed of the results.
Review Criteria
Basic criteria include article length, grammatical and spelling accuracy, relevance to the journal’s scope, level of knowledge, and formal structure.

Guarantee of Blind Review
As indicated in the Author Guidelines, authors must submit the article without personal information. Names, emails, academic affiliations, postal addresses, and brief curricula must be provided in a separate file.
Stages of the Article Evaluation Process

Submission of the original manuscript (access)

Evaluation of the anonymized manuscript by at least two external reviewers with expertise in the corresponding thematic area

Communication of review results to the journal’s editorial team

Reviewers send their evaluation and proposed recommendation to the editorial team

Communication of results to authors
Acceptance: an article is approved if the results of two or more reviews are positive.
Rejection: an article is refused if the results of two or more reviews are negative.
Acceptance with revisions: approval is conditional upon the author implementing substantial content modifications.
In cases of discrepancy, a second review round is conducted with one or more additional reviewers until a majority agreement is reached.
Economic Criteria
“Filosofia, ara!” does not charge any submission, processing, or publication fees (APCs).
Open Access Policy
The journal provides immediate free access to all content based on the principle that broad public availability promotes wider knowledge exchange.
Content is distributed under the CC BY-NC-ND license, in compliance with the BOAI Open Access Definition.

This copyright notice appears on the About the Journal page and in the metadata of all published items.

Articles are distributed under CC BY-NC-ND, but authors retain copyright and may share their works electronically (e.g., in institutional repositories).

Full journal publication on other digital platforms or printed media is not allowed without written permission from the editors.

The journal started in the last quarter of 2015 (vol. 1).
